5. Exterior Design & Safety Features

Many external components help the safety of the electric car. Through 16 ultrasonic sensors, 8 cameras, and physical protection of five radar systems plus the advanced Lidar system for visibility, the EX90 EV is at maximum protection.
The Lidar system is a technology that allows seeing about 250 meters in complete darkness.
All the cameras and radars that are integrated into Volvo run with high-tech software that is developed by Volvo. These cameras capture the car and provide a 360-degree view. Small objects can be detected hundreds of meters ahead.
The Volvo EX90 can also drive on public roads with all its sensors and steering activated in the event of an emergency. This means that the car can pull safely over to the side, stop, and offer assistance at any time. It is also capable of automatically shutting down in case of dangerous conditions or sudden deceleration.
6. Phone Key
The phone key is a feature of EX90 for locking and unlocking the car.
That means you do not need to have a fob to unlock the car and instead you will use your mobile phone, similar to most EVs.
The phone key technology supports a variety of mobile phone models.
The Phone Key technology allows you to share the key between family and friends.
7. Audio System
EX90 is the first Volvo car that features Dolby Atoms. The audio system is Bowers and Wilkins. In this car you can also experience 3D surround sound system.
There are 25 high-power speakers in this car, with a total of 1610 true watts of power. Each front seat has two headrest speakers, while the ceiling has four speakers.
The driver can choose different settings for the distribution of sound in the cabin. It can be best for all passengers or just the rear seats or just the driver.
All the speakers come with back-lit wood paneling.

You first need to go to Volvo website and start your ordering process and make a deposit (refundable) for $500 (if it’s available in your region) .
After that wait for about 10 months (currently the estimated date), and then you can choose the color and other customization options.
Once all the paperwork is done, early 2024 delivery of EX90 is expected to start.
